Long ago I worked as a lab tech in UQ Zoology, then I completed an Ass Diploma in Horticulture. Variously worked for BSES, Cairns Botanic Gardens and Mirage Resort Port Douglas in the gardens. I then drifted away from nature into IT. Since retiring I have been attempting to improve my botanical and photographic skills, especially in my local area. Have also had a lifelong interest in birds, participated in both the Atlas 1 and Atlas 2 projects.
