I am a semi-retired dermatologist and keen amateur botanist. I have learnt a lot about New Zealand's wonderful flora since I emigrated from the UK to New Zealand in 2004. I am grateful to fellow members of the Canterbury and Nelson Botanical Societies from whom I have learnt so much. I enjoy tramping and have a special love of alpine plants and scenery. I have also enjoyed botanising in various places overseas, among which I would probably count South-West Australia as my top destination.
