2.5 years studying thermal stress and Sea Star Wasting Disease in Salish Sea populations of Pisaster ochraceus, Evasterias troschelii, and Pycnopodia helianthoides under Dr. Benjamin Miner at Western Washington University. I am an avid naturalist and amateur intertidal invertebrate zoologist and ecologist. I am also an amateur malacologist, primarily interested in Ariolimax, Limax, and Arion slugs as seen in the greater Pacific Northwest of the USA.
