I spent most of my life in southern Arizona along the border with Mexico. Worked as a field biologist, environmental educator, and park ranger in the Sky Island region in Arizona, Sonora, and Chihuahua . Moved to East Nashville about 20 years ago.. Have been teaching high school since coming to Nashville and am also an adjunct faculty member in the department of biological sciences at Tennessee State University.
