I love traveling and looking at plants wherever I go! My M.S. focused on two rare serpentine endemics in the Genus Monardella as well as a lovely rare Lewisia that grows both on and off serpentine in the Northern Sierras, California. I do not consider myself an expert in anything but I am quite partial to those genera. I also love serpentine! I am very fond of the Coast Redwood and Mendocino Coast Pygmy forest ecosystems as I worked on research projects in them back in college. Next to my love of plants is a love of playing french tunes on my button accordion.
