My degree was in field biology, worked as an interpretive naturalist, then an independent science educator, now a middle school science teacher....35 years of teaching and counting. I am also a volunteer with the Minnesota DNR working on rare plant surveys (Minnesota dwarf trout lily, white ladyslipper, western fringed prairie orchid). I also enjoy exploring history and how it relates to land, resources and the environment.
