I work for the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, hence the bulk of my obs are around the Cranbourne Gardens.
I majored in botany and conservation ecology some 20 years ago, and have worked in the industry, primarily in the field, ever since.
I'm loving the iNat platform, and heavily encourage its use, to the extent of running webinars on how to use the program (website and app), for the local community.
I have created a number of project embedded within iNaturalist including:
A project to track road kill around Australia -
https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/projects/australia-s-untold-roadtoll-recording-roadkill-and-road-trauma

A project to track high performing plant species via pollinator interactions -
https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/projects/australian-pollinators

A project to track the provenance/origin of collected plant material (for herbarium, propagation and seed banking material) - https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/projects/wild-plant-tracker-seed-and-cuttings

If you would like to know more about any of these projects, please feel free to reach out.
