BioBlitz in Sydney Park
Join us for the Sydney Park BioBlitz on 14th of April!
We want your help to discover what is living in Sydney Park!
Come along to the bioblitz and sign up for daytime activities. We start with a Welcome to Country at 10am. RSVP to our free activities running from 10.30am to 4pm.
Highlights include:
- water bird survey from 10.30am
- urban jungle bike safari from 11.30am
- reptile survey from 12pm
- Aboriginal cultural tour from 12pm
- pollinator survey from 1pm.
We’ll also have cameras to help us look inside nest boxes and hollows to see if our furry friends are using them. So come and be a scientist for the day. Learn about the world of water bugs, the secrets of feathers, fascinating fungi and where the lizards hide.
There’ll also be some great stalls on the day, with Taronga Zoo and nature play activities.
