Weekly statistics between August 9, 2020 and August 15, 2020

187 observers made 855 observations between Sunday, August 9 to Saturday, August 15. Among the top five observers, @jmgconsult observed 82 examples of life in the Anacostia watershed; @ronwertz contributed 68; @stephen220 contributed 37; @dtread1 contributed 35; and @carrieseltzer contributed 33. Rounding out the top 12, @smoore_catcount contributed 26; @mstrecker contributed 21; @hannahjanee contributed 20; @paul1009 and @woodcut55 each contributed 19; and @mattshabitats and @ryanteaguebeckwith each contributed 18. 86 people contributed one observation, 31 people contributed two observations, and 21 people contributed 3 observations. Insects were the main species observations this week (250 observations), followed by Plants (230 observations). Thanks to all the rain, Fungi (186 observations) displaced the Birds (Aves) with (79 observations). Protozoa has the fewest observations (1).
