@loarie I have a question about taxon splits and captive observations. It seems like captive observations that are within an atlas get their IDs reassigned just as they would if wild -- https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/36176583. Is this as intended?
yes that is how its working currently. I think you're right that it could be improved by not doing that for captive obs - I'll make an issue
