"Now ask the animals, and let them teach you;
And ask the birds of the air, and let them tell you;

Or speak to the Earth, and it will teach you;
And let the fish of the sea declare this truth to you.

Who among all these does not recognize
That the hand of the Lord has done this,

In who's hand is the life of every living thing,
And the breath of all Mankind?"
Job 12:7-10
My name is Aaron Lincoln. I studied Field and Organismal Biology at LSU in Shreveport. My thesis work involved investigating carotenoids in bird feathers in the Texas/Louisiana area with a concentration on Northern Cardinals. Thanks to Covid, I have been liberated from my mind numbing job as a manager at Chili's. I am now a full time lab supervisor for Lhoist North America Chemical Lime here in Clifton, TX where I've been selected to lead the biodiversity initiative not only at the plant in Clifton, but also at our other Texas locations in Crawford, Nolanville, Marble Falls, and New Braunfels.
I'm a member of:
Heart of Texas Chapter Master Naturalists
Prairie Rose Native Plant Society
Dallas Paleontological Society
Rollin' Rock Club
and father of 5.
Every chance I get, I am outside marveling at God's creation, looking for new-to-me species and helping to fill in the gaps of species data wherever I go.

Check out my project cataloging the biodiversity of Clifton City Park near my home. https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/clifton-city-park-clifton-tx
And my moth project that has become an obsession.
*need help with ID's on this one! 1,300 observations need agreement or ID's to become research grade.
