Grew up in north-west Iowa (USA), Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University. Spent three summers during my undergrad working as a research crew leader in Grand Teton National Park [GTNP] (2016-2018) and got my fill of high altitude living then. Moved to the "Big Easy" for my Master's of Science at the end of summer 2018. Currently studying Brassolini butterfly eyespots for my thesis, as well as finishing work on Parnassius clodius in GTNP and a survey of moths in GTNP.
