ROUTE TAKEN:
Moose Hill: Billings Loop
Blue Hill. Up connector trail from north parking lot to service road, then up service road to summit. Down via middle ski slope.

TERRAIN:
Moose Hill - flat
Blue Hill - moderate slope all the way up/down.

PHENOLOGY:
Buds for spring present on most trees

CONVERSATIONS:
Talked with observer about weather. Much of what was said is recorded in the daily discussion on Bluehill.org.

EXTRA NOTES:
Total snowfall for 24 hrs was 1.8 inches. This is the most snow I have seen on the ground this winter at either place. The temperature has been much higher than normal. We could get the 'big one' any time, but, so far, conditions have favored rain. Meanwhile, I'll take in the beauty as it is presented to me.
