No one has an answer

I am still perplexed due to the fact that no one has been able to identify the creatures that are contained in my very first observation on iNaturalist.
If anyone can identify it please let me know.
Thanks!
Kaz

I don't think your first observation shows the remains of living things. I think instead that these are unusual globs of some kind of glue or paint or similar that was used during construction.

Hi Susan,
I really appreciate your comment. There are two photos of two different bodies. One was alive when the photo was taken and the other is embedded under a coat of paint (thus dead). If you will notice the one that is alive is the same exact shape of the one that resides under the paint. These are two different photos of two different creatures albeit obviously the same kind of creature. The little tail hangs down so it might be confusing because one of the photos was posted upside down. They are definitely real - the one that is under the paint is still there and I would imagine a DNA sample could be taken if someone was interested in doing so.
Thanks again for responding,

And you know that one was alive when you took the photo because...? Was it moving? Did you touch it?

Hi Susan,
I did not touch it however it looked alive, soft, moist and colored like something organic. The other one obviously has a coat of paint over it. The important aspect is that they are the exact same shape. It would be impossible to produce two random objects with the same exact shape.

It would be good to post this discussion on the observation page, or at least your comments, so someone else can read what you have to say about this.

Thank you Susan - Now I have to figure out where the observation page is. I am not sure where you are directing me to go.
