One Hour Project

I did a little project where I walked in a large rectangle around my workplace in Austin (183 and Riata Trace/Oak Knoll area), and I tried to find as many things to observe as possible. I tried to get only plants and insects I hadn't seen before.
I'm happy with how many I got right, and hope to find out how well I did on more of them soon.
I ended up making 48 observations, which pushed me well close to 150.
I will write more about this in my blog, which is at https://thehermitsrest.blog/

Wonderful! I'm always amazed that when I take just a little bit of time and change my perspective a bit, I can see tremendous biodiversity everywhere! :)

Keep it up!
