ALA ID errors: Pingasa Chlora

The following gallery page at the Atlas of Living Australia (Accessed 9 Dec 2016)

exhibits 20 images of as few as 10 different moths. Only 4 of these depict Pingasa chlora. The two ventral images by DSez Wells, and two dorsal views, that of Michele G. / Questagame, and Ian McMaster.

Everything else shows a Red-lined Looper, Crypsiphona ocultaria.

The distinction to be made is simple. The innermost (proximal to the head) jagged line of the forewing continues on the hindwing typically lining at rest giving the appearance of one long line. No such marking exists on the hind wing of P. chlora.
