We found this snake in the middle of a desert but was hard to spot. It’s patter made it easy to camouflage to its surroundings almost perfectly.

This bee was so big that it looked at rust like a hornet. However, it’s color resembled more of a bees and I could see that it had a fluffy coating. It also made a buzzing noise which how I spotted it. It’s legs and wings were all black and the only other color on it was yellow.

This was in the middle of the a empty area where only other bushes and some tress were scattered. At first they looked like dandelions but the little flowers were actually though some I’m a little unsure as to what it is. There also appeared to have some dried out flowered scattered all around.

This spider was really small and but it’s legs made it stand out and made it look taller. It’s leg made it about a pens height and it’s legs had what appeared a black and yellow pattern. Unfortunately I couldn’t see much of it because it was fast and it was hard to keep up with it. However, based on the body and the pattern on it made me go with the phalangioidea.

This spider was really hard to spot as it’s color scheme made it blend in with its surroundings. Unfortunately I couldn’t see much of it since it was running away and was hard to even see. What I did notice was it size which was about the size of my hand. Another thing that I was able to spy was the colors on it back which closely resemble the Carolina wolf spider. The pattern is what convinced me that it was this species despite not being able to observe it more up close.

At first this bird resembled a crow but the brown color is what made it distinct. Their tails are also alot longer and flap more when they walk. There were other similar birds but they were bigger and had a more blueish hue to them. Based on that the brown ones appear to be females because they are much smaller when compared to the ones with a blueish hue.

This bird from a distance appeared to be completely gray but once it turned around there were more colors in the back. Although, it's hard to see all the birds that looked the same had a distinct black spot near their necks. This spot was on both sided of their necks and is what made it easy to see if all the birds present were from the same species. However, the colors in their backs were all a little harder to see. In general they appeared black with white/beige colors towards the middle of their feathers.

This butterfly was easy to notice since it's white wings made it stand out. The black dots/spots were the first things to stand out and appear to be the only other color present. Unlike other butterflies, this one was smaller in size and it's wings shape resembled a moths.

This plant was very tall and had many spikes that adorned all the branches. The spikes/thorns were easy to see because their green color contrasted the grey branch and made them stand out. The only other color were the very few and scattered flowers that were at the very top of the branches. Although they were very small, there were a couple red flowers but I wasn't able to see them up close and couldn't see the petals, shape, etc. The branches themselves seemed to also thin out by having a thick diameter at the bottom and thinned out having a much smaller diameter at the top but it wasn't very noticeable.

This shrub was very vibrant with dark green leaves and very small yellow flowers scattered around. Each flower had five petals and were so small that they were had to distinguished since it blended with the rest of the shrub. Despite it size, this was the most vibrant plant compared to the other plants that surrounded it.

This insect was very colorful as it’s legs and body was what caught my attention at first. It was about medium size but this one was one of the biggest one that I saw. I could clearly see the patterns on its body and although it may not too obvious on the picture, it’s legs also had a similar color scheme.

This shrub was very sharp and hard, the leaves had very small but pointy ends. Overall it seemed to be a dark green that becomes lighter at the ends. The leaves ends where sharp and the thorns were almost white which made them stand out but were actually a light brown. The thorns were pretty long and things out towards the ends.

This bush had very thick leaves and was about medium sized. Unlike the rest of the trees and bushes, this one was very distinct because it was very light. The mint green really made it very distinct since a lot of the greenery around were dark shades of green and brown. The branches were also a light color grey which from afar blends in with the mint leaves.

This looked just like a tumbleweed but was a little different as it had little flowers that were scattered around. The flowers were at first hard to distinguished as they were the same color as the branches, a very light almost reddish violet. The only thing that wasn't this color was the leaves/spikes that ran along the branches. They were more of a dark emerald green. Aside from the vivid colors the only other thing that made it less like the tumbleweeds seen in El Paso was it size. In comparison to the large ones in Texas, this was extremely small.

Encountered this tree that resembled more like a large bush because of the way that it was shaped. It didn't have any distinct smells despite having what looked like blueberries. However, what appeared like blueberries only did so in color because they were rather small in comparison. The leaves surrounding the berries looked almost exactly like a pine trees. If it didn't have the berries and was arranged differently it could have passed for a pine tree.
