I think this is probably a New Zealand native slug. I found it on a piece of Carex dissita when it was under the microscope. The carex was growing in a seasonally wet area under canopy of podcarp/broadleaf trees. It is a small slug less than 10mm long.

This is a montage of how Pterostylis banksii presents in the area. Most are growing under a tall canopy with little understory apart form large patches of Lasteopsis microsora. They are found mainly is slight depressions where it is a bit more moist. The area is grazed but with little to feed on the many affect the stock have is tracking through the area which is pretty inconsequential. I have a full set of photographs for each entity shown here so if there is a particular one of interest that needs separating out I can load it as a separate observation.

Locally common growing in open ground on the bush edge. Very small flowers with the bud 5mm long, A tag name of "red stem" has been suggested. The leaf is quite short and with short and long glandular hairs. I have added 2 photographs to show the size of the flower. Quite a lot of plants had 2 flowers and one had 3.

One plant I think but hard to tell. growing with C. chilensis and C. edulis and with Disphyma australe in the vicinity. The options i could come up with are a hybrid between C. chilensis and Disphyma australe, C. glaucescens or an odd very small flowered C. chilensis. The leaf edges are not as sharp as the species so perhaps favouring the hybrid option. Both the first two options appear to be very uncommon.

The second photograph shows flowers of C. chilensis alongside this entity for comparison
