A very neat wad of what looked like packing foam was between the wooden frames of a marginally open velux window. I picked it up ... and it was so delicare anfmd fluffy that it squished, releasing what felt like honey. Oh dear! There were 2 larvae inside. <4mm long. A wool carder? Solitary native bees?

This is a tiny moth. It would be helpful to have a scale included in "compare" library images, or a size of organism provided in the description.
