Seen to have been feeding on spruce trees (middle to lower). They also sit at the top of some black cottonwood trees and sing. They are seen walking on the grounds at the base of spruce trees and searching for food. Two Magpie crows would sometimes sit on the same branch or branches at different levels at the same time. Both have also fed at the same area of the tree.
