Ran up a tree as we approached. Very quick and able to escape as we tried to catch. Ran into a crack in the rocks. Remained in shade the entire time.

Slithering in the leaf litter on a rainy night. Very shy and elusive, lucky to see it. Early evening, probably on the prowl or returning home after some prowling.
