Found this rodent trying to eat an old slice of pizza in oak leaf litter. It jumped onto the slice three times and then scurried away. In the blurry photo... The light fur on its feet and underside are almost visible. I looked for this characteristic while observing it.

Found this lizard at 7:30 am. Cold concrete floor of my classroom. Not very quick or reactive. I am surprised by the length of its tail. Its body length was about 7 centimeters and tail was at least twice as long as that. Potentially was caught in hairs on floor.

Two little brown mushrooms in green grass under a carrotwood tree on a residential street. The grass appeared very well watered, notably there has not been recent rain.
The height of the mushroom from the ground to top of the cap was ~4 cm. Cap was 1 to 1.5 cm across less than 1 cm tall.
