Agricus campestris in my own backyard! Very rainy year in Austin. Lack of volva, pinkish gills when fresh and dark chocolate-brown spore prints are the basis for the ID.

Hongo Ángel Destructor (Amanita bisporigera)Observ.

Young specimen found in Live oak leaf litter during a hike at Pace Bend Park. Presence of an annular ring and volva indicate genus Amanita, while coloration and location lead me to believe this is bisporigera.
