The organism observed can be classified as a seedless nonvascular plant. Moss does not contain any vascular tissue and do not include seeds in their reproduction. This observation was made on a tree in a park in a residential area. The moss observed were green and very small in size and could barely be seen through the cracks of the trees trunk. In terms of reproduction, in this organism it is done through the production of antheridia and archegonia done by the green, leafy gametophyte (Budke, et al, 2018). The sperm from the antheridia fertilizes the egg in the archegonia to produce the sporophyte (Budke, et al, 2018).

The organism observed were sword ferns. The organism is long in size and possesses the distinctive characteristic of fronds (https://www.pugetsound.edu/academics/academic-resources/slater-museum/exhibits/terrestrial-panel/sword-fern/).The observation was made in a small forested area outside of a residential area. This organism is classified as a seedless vascular plant due to its possession of vascular tissue. The sori on these fern plants were not distinguishable, however these characterize the reproductive system of the plants.

The organism observed was a small flowering plant that produced a white and yellow flower. This observation was made in a small, forested park area on the side of the road. The weather was slightly chilly and sunny. The plant observed is a vascular seed plant as it is an angiosperm (flowering plant). Distinctive characteristics of the greater stitchwort are its five white petals, split about halfway down (Sharma, Arora, 2012). The flowers are the reproductive organs are typically very small in size.

The organism presented is a seed plant. The oak tree was very tall and brown in color with green and brown leaves. The habitat was a small forested area just outside of a park. These organisms depend on wind pollination to reproduce (https://www.caryinstitute.org/sites/default/files/public/downloads/curriculum-project/the_oak_tree_facts.pdf). The acorns are a result of pollination and mature after three months before being moved around my birds (https://www.caryinstitute.org/sites/default/files/public/downloads/curriculum-project/the_oak_tree_facts.pdf). Acorns are an indication of a seed plant.

This organism is a seedless nonvascular plant, moss. It was present on this tree trunk in small pastches dispersed about the tree. The moss was green in color and appeared as fuzzy sections on the tree. The organism was found on a tree located in a small forested area outside of a residential community. Distinguishing characteristics of this organism were the rootlike tissue used to absorb water (https://science.jrank.org/pages/4456/Moss-Moss-characteristics.html).

The organism presented is a seedless vasuclar plant, specifically a fern. Defining characteristics of this organism are fronds attached to a rhizome, a specialized, rootlike stem (https://science.jrank.org/pages/2679/Ferns-General-characteristics.html). The pictured fern was green in color, long, and grew randomly from the side of a tree trunk. The habitat of this observation was a small forested area outside of residential communities.
