Observed completely submerged under the water of a shallow creek running through Ledges State Park. I assumed it was dead and collected it to try and pin, but it revived and began moving. I put it in a container to observe for a while. Had visible damage to the exoskeleton but no obvious paralysis of any segments.

I believe this may be a leopard frog but I am not confident in my ability to identify amphibians. Observed in a creek running through Ledges State Park in shallow, flowing water during clear weather.
