Spreading sepals. Glaucous stems. Woolly calyces and also glandular. Habit is arching shrub and not trailing. R ursinus noted to rarely form hybrids with R bifrons (R armeniacus misapplied) in Flora of PNW 2nd Ed. Context here is both species co-occurring on disturbed slope where riprap/retaining wall recently constructed. See info on R ursinus forming hybrids below:

This mostly keys to C multiflorus… sessile ternate leaves below with short appressed hairs. Glabrous calyx. Will come back in a few months to check out the fruit.

mostly keys to multiflorus is Stace but I’ll revisit during fruiting in a month or 2.
