Previously resident in Belize, Central America where I was working with the GIZ Selva Maya project "Support for the monitoring of biodiversity and climate change" and stationed at the Forest Department in Belmopan.

Through the project we organized a iNaturalist training in Chetumal, Quintana Roo: "Taller de bases para la sciencia ciudana" on October 2&3 of 2019. As a follow up we will train further citizen scientists starting with staff from the Belize Audubon, Ya'axche Conservation Trust and Chaa Creek Lodge.

Other than that I have a wide interest but "specializing" in: Butterflies - Rhophalocera, Hawkmoths - Sphingidae, Emperor Moths - Saturniidae, Flora and then specifically: Aristolochiaceae, Passifloraceae and Zamiaceae. Also Amphibians, Reptiles, Birds, Mammals.
