Frequent travels to the tropics, especially to Latin America and the Mascarene islands. Voluntary staff and board member of Interessengemeinschaft Passionsblumen and journal "Passiflorunde" 1996-2005. Former manager of the Passiflora seed bank. Member of Passiflora Society International (PSI) since 1997.
