I live at the intersection of art and science. Observing nature and learning more about the living world around me is a past time, but also informs my work as a science illustrator. As a former sea otter biologist on the central coast of California I have a special interest in all things marine, but with most of my knowledge in the near shores of the eastern Pacific.
