Bioblitz Results
Thank you to everyone who participated in our bioblitz on Saturday, and a huge shoutout to our volunteer naturalists and educators! We made a total of 44 iNaturalist observations representing 37 different species, and 22 of those observations have reached research grade so far.

I enjoyed the invasive species walk! Most of my observations at the nature center were of species that the guide identified. I was expecting more of a "blitz" -- "go forth and observe what you can!" -- than guided, informative walks.
Also, are you "counting" observations made in the park proper on the same day, or just at the nature center?
Thank you for your message and feedback! All observations made within the park were gathered in our iNaturalist collection project even if they were not around the Nature Center.
