City Nature Challenge 2022
We will have 3 events Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But let me start with the Saturday April 30th event:
Join us, or help us spread the word, about this City Nature Challenge 2022 event, Saturday April 30th at Fort Dupont Park in DC, 10 am to 2 pm. With our great partners, we will offer interpreted nature walks where people will learn from the experts, hike the rich woods of this amazing historic park and make iNaturalist observations for the challenge. These are the hikes we will be offering:
-10 am: Birds with Tykee James, DC Audubon
-11 am: Mushrooms with Serenella Linares, Audubon Naturalist Society
-12 pm: Herpetofauna (amphibians and reptiles) with Barry Bowman, graduate student from the University of Maryland
-1 pm: Plants with Bradley Simpson, Audubon Naturalist Society
