Escaped garden plants of Botswana.

Easily and rapidly colonises river banks of streams flowing on basalt hilsides around the edge of Serowe Village. The plants are grown in gardens in Serowe as an ornamental and sometimes for hedging and seeds are easily blown to local river banks which the quickly colonise if the stream bank is not shaded.
