Forest Foraging Walk
This digital forage project is intended to gather together observations shared by participants in Galiano Island's 2016 Nettlefest Foraging Walk, led by Cedana and Patti.

Along with your observations, you might take the time to share what you learned about foraging in Galiano's forests. Whether it's knowledge about how and when to pick edibles for a sustainable harvest, where they grow, what their medicinal values are, or how to preserve them, your stories and cultural knowledge can help create context for appreciating the island's biodiversity.
