This project, curated by the Wissahickon Restoration Volunteers, aims to track non-native plants that have recently started appearing in the Wissahickon section of Philadelphia's Fairmount Park. We are collecting presence/absence data to determine if any species warrants active management/removal.

You don't have to be certain of the ID before adding an observation to the project; we welcome 'maybe's.

What's not in the scope of this project are invasive species that are well established in the area, for example: garlic mustard, lesser celandine, winged euonymus, mugwort, Japanese knotweed, Norway maple, and wineberry. menos ↑
