This project logs all observations in the Waimakariri nature reserve areas. The managed nature reserves are: Poynter's nature reserve on the northern bank upstream of the Kaiapoi confluence, Te Rauakaaka Nature reserve on the south bank opposite and 'the sanctuary' on the south bank situated north of the airport.
