此處芡的種源來自花蓮壽豐一處已消失的野生族群，係於2002~2004年間經人為投入，並持續生長至2011年左右。

Note: These photos were taken in the south shore of Hwa Lake, which is an abandoned artificial lake in Dong Hwa University.
The origin of Euryale ferox here comes from a wild population which had been removed in Shoufeng, Hualien.
It was introduced to here between 2002 and 2004, and grew until about 2011. (Thanks for @pohaochen 's information.)
