Saw this baby rattlesnake while watering at dusk. It moved quickly into a hole in our wall and all I could manage was this blurry shot of it’s tail. It was about 12 inches long. Face was triangular and with a dark facial stripe. You can just make out the first rattle segment on the tail. I presume this is C. atrox.
