~90mm long female.

Under water for long period of time. Didn’t observe it catching anything.

Found it stuck in a web by the front door. Tried to smack me when i touched its wings. They folded down eventually.

Attracted to UV 40w light. Not sure if it crashed or attacked by predator, but lots of hissing noises in this state....thinking the head may be missing?

Found after heavy rain, an adult with ootheca and freshly hatched juveniles.

It hatched.

Found this mantis eating a male after mating. The male was still alive at the start, but about an hour later I could only find wings and legs.

Not in the best condition...

I think this is another Mallee Grass Mantis. It’s in a different location to the others. A surprise find - they seem to be everywhere right now!
