Louse fly (Hippoboscidae) - almost certainly from Red-necked Wallabies
Identified as Ortholfersia on Bowerbird by Tony D.: "Appears to be an Ortholfersia species. There are two genera parasitic on wallabies, Ortholfersia and Austrolfersia. The former can be distinguished from the latter by the presence of lateral spine-like setae on the thorax."
