This is a Mexican jumping bean larvae. We got him out in science class at Carleton Washburn school. Team pursuit. He is going to be our 1rst period 7th grade pet. We learned that the mother lays her eggs on the plant and the beans grows around it. The bean moves because the larvae is moving. His name is adge ge ge.
THIS IS A COMMON IVY PLANT. SOME CAN CLIMB UP WALLS AND TREES. IF THEY CLIMB THEIR VINES ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT THAN IF THE PLANT WAS GROWING ON GROUND. THE CLIMBING VINES ARE PRICKY AND MORE COARSE, WHILE THE ON GROUND VINES ARE MORE SLIKY AND SMOOTH.
