This neatly Vanikoro broadbill (Myiagra vanikorensis) nest was observed on a forked cassava branch, in our plantation.
The parents appear to be very aggressive, which was not surprising at all.
Sometimes the female comes to feed the chicks. The male captured a butterfly, tore the wings away and fed the rest of the body to the chicks.
