Going out on a limb with this ID but there is good evidence (photo quality notwithstanding). In photo 1, the tail appears to project beyond the end of the wings. There is also extensive black on the orange (not red) bill. Forster's is rare and reportable - but expected - for the Rainy River District. Feedback appreciated.

I'm not sure if this bird can be distinguished to subspecies, but I noted in the field that it was significantly different in plumage and size from the usual Savannah Sparrows I see in the area. It appeared much larger and the black streaking definitely stuck out from the usual birds.
