This bull moose was right beside the highway. It was not disturbed by all the photographers until a car pulled up right beside it. Then it retreated a few metres into the bush. The 2nd photo shows what it was doing - drinking the salty water in the ditch bside the road.
It had some bare patches and did not look very healthy. I wonder if it has a lot of ticks.
