Growing in sandy pine duff, appeared to be dug up/strewn about
Growing prolifically under pine trees in Eskdale reserve. Largest of this cluster approx 8cm across. Possibly Slippery Jack or Peppery Bolete?
I realise an ID is unlikely given the condition of the specimen.
Is the hairy tuft adjoining the substrate possibly another fungus?
Could somebody please confirm my ID?
Growing on the side of a ponga, this mushroom looked whitish to the naked eye. It was approximately 12mm at the widest part of the cap. I was rushing so only got the one shot.
Golden coloured gills with a distinct green colouration. Most of the fruit bodies were concealed under the bark of a very rotten beech branch
