Las Vegas Wash, Clark County Wetlands Park, Clark Co., Nevada, USA.
Photo'd in clear water near shore of flowing stream. Several of these non-native fish were in the Las Vegas Wash which was flowing (treated effluent water). This aquarium fish is apparently established in the Las Vegas Wash and nearby Lake Mead.
I originally IDed this as Armored Catfish (Hypostomus plecostomus) but someone familiar with these fish suggested Vermiculated Sailfin Catfish (Pterygoplichthys cf. disjunctivus), which has been documented in this same area since 2001 by the Nonindigenous Aquatic Species database (nas.er.usgs.gov)
