I know I've been posting so many of the same mantises lately, but there's just so many of them around this year. Definitely more than I've ever noticed before- normally I don't really see the juvenile mantises, but it's hard to miss them this year. Even if you're not looking for bugs the way I am- other family members have been commenting on them to me too.
I think they're all T. sinensis, but I'm putting this at Mantidae because I'm not actually certain. I know the only oothecae I saw in the area earlier in the season were T. sinensis, but there could be some I missed, and I don't know all the distinguishing features between the mantises themselves.
