With Southern Leopard Frog (Lithobates sphenocephalus) calling in background.
Found on the morning of 3/20 in a very rural backyard near a pond. In Jackson, LA. The weather had been fairly dry, low temps in the 40s upper temps in the 70s. Many other of the same species were found all around the pond/forest area. These pictures only represents the most photograph-able/obvious one(s) that I found.
These have not yet bloomed for this season.
