Eating/shallowing a fence lizard. The color of the lizard is dull so I think it's died.

Leaning T. elegans here, but it's tough. Pretty big 6th and 7th upper labials, and the internasals are wide.
I have never seen leeches in the wild before, and did not expect to find them on a newt. Are they affected by the newt's toxins?
