Frequent in mesic to sub-xeric longleaf pine woodland
In shallow sandy intertidal plane. Observed at night during low tide.
First flower I've seen this spring!
next to shallow tide pool, observation is for the white coral looking stuff not the muscle.
seems like a lot of the dimples, and most not particularly saucer shaped, but I can't find a better match
Silver spotted anemone? Found in little crag/crack tide pools on rocky slopes at the far end of sand beach, bar harbor Maine. They close up instantly when gently poked. Penny sized.
