Eastern cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus) observed in Childress, TX about 100 meters north of county road P. Cottontail appeared to be looking for shelter, as it would continuously look under the red sea crate, look back at it's surroundings, then look under another corner of the sea crate before going underneath the crate. 44 degrees F with clear, sunny skies. NW winds at 8 mph with 73% humidity.
